About CougHacks

CougHacks is free for all participants. You do not need to be an expert programmer to participate, just bring a desire to learn more about technology! Hardware will not be provided to participants, so bring a laptop. The event begins April 7th at 3:30pm and continues through the 8th. Participants are encouraged to stay for the entire event to submit their project for judging and be eligible for prizes. Teams can have up to 5 members. You can prearrange teams prior to the event or we can help teams form as projects begin. Sign up using the button above.

Opening Ceremony and Handing out T-Shirts: 3:30pm

Start Hackathon and snacks: 4:00pm

Dinner (Panda Express) and Connect with Industry: 6:30pm

Game Time and Desserts: 8:00pm

Energy Drinks and Snacks: 10:00pm

Hand out 2nd Participation Prize: 3:00am

CougHacks FAQ

CougsHacks is a collegiate level hackathon held at WSU Everett.

CougsHacks will be hosted in person at the WSU Everett Campus.

All students attending any University, College, or High School can attend.

CougHacks is completely free to attend.

All students must bring their own laptop, charger, sleeping bags, and pillows.

Team sizes are 5 people maximum.

During the start of the event we will host a team forming activity to ensure that all attendies have a team.

No, we highly encourage everyone start their project during the hackathon.
